Class Types

Beginners
For those new to Pilates or anyone looking to review the fundamentals after a break. These classes focus on the core principles and techniques of Pilates in a group environment, and will introduce you the basic exercises.
Reformer
The Reformer is an incredibly versatile resistance-based machine, with a complex set of springs, ropes and straps connected to a gliding carriage. You can perform exercises in various positions: lying down, sitting, kneeling or standing. The straps, adjustable for feet or hands, allow you to push or pull against the resistance of the springs and your own body weight.
Mat
For those who have completed the Beginners' Course or have previous Pilates experience, these classes combine mat-based exercises with small apparatus – balls, bands, rings, hand weights and foam rollers – to both support and challenge you.
Advanced Mat
Advanced Mat further increases the challenge by introducing a wider range of classical Pilates exercises, along with functional and standing work, at a non-stop pace. The focus is on continual flowing movement, and full body strength is required for every exercise. Please note, this class is not suitable for clients with injuries, and previous Pilates experience is required.
HIPP
A more dynamic form of Pilates that combines the precision of a regular session with the dynamic energy of a High Intensity Workout. Combining core strength, balance and coordination with an energetic cardiovascular element.
Ante Natal One-to-One
Suitable for expectant mothers from the 16th week of pregnancy. The aim here is to give you better body awareness and posture, which can help alleviate pregnancy-related aches and pains. You will also learn relaxation techniques and breathing skills that will help you throughout your pregnancy and during the birth. (Please check with your doctor that it is safe for you to exercise.)
One-to-One
Private lessons are perfect if you are looking for a session that's specifically designed for your body. They are especially useful if you are new to Pilates and want to learn the basics quickly, or if you have a particular injury or condition that needs special consideration or rehabilitation.
Barre
A great class for all levels, especially those new to barre workouts. Incorporating elements of dance, Pilates, cardio and strength training to create a high energy, dynamic class. Taught to music, Barre classes focus on strength, flexibility, stamina and dynamic flexibility. It’s a programme geared for everyone – no dance experience required!
